The League tried many different approaches to making the Gospel more effective. During the depression years, people found comfort in hymns. This Gospel, printed in the Cyrillic language for sharing in Russia where communism had swept away religious liberty, shows a typical hymn. Below it is a bilingual Asian Gospel printed many years later also showing the use of a hymn.
