General Douglas MacArthur requested that the League provide 10 million Testaments to distribute throughout Japan following the end of the war. League members and supporters responded graciously, with 11 million Gospels actually distributed. On December 8, 1949 MacArthur provided this letter of support to The Pocket Testament League.
