And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.

"The word of God, which is indeed at work in you" When I was a teenager, I played a trick on my friend. I put a Vitamin C tablet in his orange juice when he wasn't watching. When he turned round, his glass of orange juice began to bubble ...... then froth......and then overflow! In the same way, God's word in us brings change, and the life of Jesus 'spills over', and touches others.
