Exodus 3:2
There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.

This is a picture of how God gets our attention! It wasn't unusual to see bushes consumed by fire in the wilderness, but this one kept burning - it was alive. We could be a burning bush for someone today...shining brightly in a dark world.
