Job 40:2
"Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him?
Let him who accuses God answer him!"

Do you love the benefits of what being a Christian brings or do you love God? This is the question I think sums up alot of Job. All the benefits of being a God fearing guy his enjoyed for sure. Take those all away. Does he Still love God? We should love God just because it's God the great I AM! When all the blessings that have come out way. When everything that has been stripped away do we still love God. Would we cry out with voices of Love for him or cry out with accusations to put the judge on trial?

Job 38:2
"Who is this that obscures my plans
with words without knowledge?

Lee A. from EDENBRIDGE, United Kingdom said:
One day we're all going to be judged. Our hearts should drive us to the Lost sheep in the world that will try and defend them selves without knowledge. We need to spread the word of God. Arm people with the knowledge of Christ. Once armed with the knowledge of Christ hopefully they will surrender all to him. The holy spirit will come and harvest the fruit. That they will fall in Love with God. That they will have everlasting life. They will have the knowledge to set themselves free. Let's plant those seeds!

Job 32:21
I will show no partiality,
nor will I flatter anyone;

There's so much to be said. However if I needed to choose 1 verse and comment it would be this one. "I will show no partiality, not will I flatter anyone" It's great to remember this when we are evangelising and speaking to people. We are not there to flatter the lost. Nor please them. We are there to proclaim the Gospel of our lord Jesus Christ. We are to proclaim it honestly and boldly. I see a real problem with alot of ministry's and churches today. There to worried about flattering people. Tickling people's ears. They end up proclaiming a small portion of the gospel. There own version. Without realising a false idol. Let's not fall into that trap. We're not there to cherry pick scripture. We're not there to brush over the bits that are hard to talk about. We're there to proclaim boldly when out evangelising to the lost souls.

Job 25:4
How then can a mortal be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?
Lee A.
Lee A. from EDENBRIDGE, United Kingdom said:
This is a question the world should be asking. How then can a mortal be righteous before God? Most people in the world think they are righteous. I'm not that bad I hear the people say. In a broken world with broken people it's easy to judge ones self and seem righteous. As we live in a world that has declared it's self as righteous and the people init judge there own righteousness on good works. If people think there righteous why then would they call out to God? What a arrogant, hard world we live in today. The first job of an evangelist is surly to make a world see itself unclean. A world to see it's self as unrighteous. To preach the law of God to the unsaved souls on the earth. Them there hearts may be humbled and softened. As the realisation hits that they stand as criminals before a holy judge. Only then will they ask them selves the question, how then can a mortal be righteous before God? They will be in desperate need of righteousness knowing the fate of hell awaits unless they can stand righteous before God. Once they know the answer they will cry out to Jesus. They will reach out to Jesus. They will praise Jesus. They will shout Jesus name from the roof tops. They will shout for joy as they will embrace a holy God. For they will be made righteous through Christ. They will be saved.

Job 24:23
He may let them rest in a feeling of security,
but his eyes are on their ways.

The real world is not fair. My brother was attacked and left for dead. His now severely brain damaged. I will be honest with you I'm working some things out with God. I can tell you true hatred is where your happy to seek revenge without the fear of God! I have a long way to go however God is working on my heart in regards to forgiveness. I find great rest in the knowledge that yes people may commit a crime against a loved one and no it isn't fair however the almighty has it at hand. The criminal may find rest however the Almighty's eyes are on there ways. If I'm upset by a crime or someone getting hurt how much more is God. God is the ultimate judge. The world needs Jesus our enemies need jesus. If they don't they will surely go to hell to be punished for the crimes commited against them. The ultimate act of forgiveness would be to hand the gospel of John to your enemy. I'm not in a place to do such a thing. I do thank God that I know he has it all in hand. One day everyone will be judged by the heavenly judge. The wages of sin is death.

Job 23:15
That is why I am terrified before him;
when I think of all this, I fear him.
Lee A.
Lee A. from EDENBRIDGE, United Kingdom said:
Do we fear God enough? Do we fear God enough to come to a point of repentance at the cross. As a Christian I have stumbled. On one particular occasion I almost sold my soul to the devil. (Almost)! I could debate scripture with my spouse, brothers and sisters in Christ and everyone else in-between. Of your going down the wrong way. About to backslide. When you read the bible and the word of God brings conviction do you fear God to act on that? I can debate with many people but I'm afraid to debate God. When the word brings conviction my healthy fear of God always points me back to the cross. Brings me to my knees in repentance. As I worship at the joyful promise of Jesus Christ. The fear of God is my strength when I'm at most vulnerable. The devil can break me but my healthy fear of God will always lead me back to the cross.

Job 22:3
What pleasure would it give the Almighty if you were righteous?
What would he gain if your ways were blameless?
Lee A.
Lee A. from EDENBRIDGE, United Kingdom said:
Nobody can stand righteous or blameless when being judged by a perfect, holy judge that cannot be bribed. Nobody can neither be innocent under a perfect, holy law that demands perfection. Start with the 10 commandments and see how lawless you really are. We are made righteous and blameless only through Christ. He died and rose again for me so I can enter into the presence of God blameless and righteous. I chose to repent towards the cross I left my old self at the foot of the cross. I believe and put all my trust and faith in Jesus that as he walked out that tomb. He won the greatest victory of all. Which is the answer to this question. The pleasure of a father being able to love his child. A father calling a child to run into his arms. A child letting a father in. That's what Christ has done for me on the cross. Thank you father.

Job 21:20
Let their own eyes see their destruction;
let them drink the cup of the wrath of the Almighty.
Lee A.
Lee A. from EDENBRIDGE, United Kingdom said:
I wonder how many sets of eyes that walk by me in the street will eventually see there destruction on there day of judgement. How many loved ones in my life will drink from the cup of wrath of the almighty? I wonder how many souls I encounter every day know the eternal truths that await us all when it's our time to depart. This verse highlights the importance of sharing the gospel with every soul we ever encounter. This is my week's motivation to go and share the Gospel of Jesus. To hand out those gospels of John. Our personal testimonies of how the Lord Jesus has rescued our souls from the depths of hell. Along with the gift of the living word of God in the form of the Gospel of John. The power of prayer. It's all like an invitation to heaven. We need to point those souls to Jesus. To the cross. To the empty grave. There they will find the gift not of destruction but salvation. They will no longer drink from the cup of wrath but of life.
